Blue Hawker

Blue Hawker Aeshna cyanea

Syn. Southern Hawker

Common but local in Southern Finland. Slowly-moving shaded rivers, bays, small and shaded ponds, woodland lakes. Often found far away from the water.

Flight period late June - late August.
