Common Bluetail Ischnura elegans

Syn. Blue-tailed Damselfly

Common and locally abudant in southern coast, uncommon further north, absent from northern Finland (an isolated record from Tornio is by far the most northern). Favours reedy and well-vegetated waterbodies, especially on coast. Uncommon and local inland.

Flight time June-August.
