Common Goldering Cordulegaster boltonii

Syn Golden-Ringed Dragonfly

Local but not uncommon. Southern and Central Finland, apparently also southern Lapland where likely underrecorded (1 record in 2006 from Kemijärvi). Unrecorded from southwest and west coast.

Small, clean streams and rivulets, especially shallow rock- or sand-bottomed streams. Several individuals can be found at suitable habitats.

Flight period: June-August
