Small Whiteface Leucorrhinia dubia
Syn. White-Faced Dragonfly
Very common and abudant throughout the country. Different small standing waters, especially small lakes, bays, bogs.
Flight period: mid-May - August
Male. The species is smaller and the abdomen is thinner than on its relatives. Spot on S8 can often be orange-tinted, don't confuse with Yellow-Spotted Whiteface.
